WEEKLY RANTINGS....
Vampire movies....There have been a few made like From Dusk till Dawn,
Dracula, Interview with a vampire, and Bram Stokers Dracula to mention
just a few. Each of them has there own pro's and con's but I still cant get
over the special effects and ideas in each of the movies. From instance from
Dusk till Dawn...ok the first half of the movie has nothing to do with vampires
but as soon as they encounter them the movie becomes cheesey and rather
amusing because of the poor(ish) special effects and the way they brought
across the Vampire "look". Now I understand that everyone has a different
view of vampires around the world but geez. To say the movie was "bad" is not
true. The movie itself is rather amusing if you get past the cheesey vampires.
All in all Vampire movies a rather good in general but a more "sound" plot,
special effects and makeup would help..But hey thats Hollywood for You!
